Installed GoogleDesktop on Ubuntu….Windows becoming less dependent

After hearing that a Google Desktop version of Linux was available, I decided to try it out in Ubuntu Fiesty Fawn.

Installing it was very simple and quick. (for people trying it to install on Ubuntu this is the best link on how to install it. GoogleDesktop On Ubuntu)

After giving it time to fully index my harddrives, it was ready to be used.

It is just as good as the one on windows. As far as I know there are no google gadgets available, but since google search made it to Linux, its a matter of time gadgets will be available for it.
